State Meal Per Diem
Effective July 1, 2008

 

The state meal per diem is based on the CONUS rate. Any change to the state meal per diem will be noted on this page and will take effect when noted.

 

For Instate travel, the rates are:
Destination Breakfast Lunch Dinner
Columbia 7 11 18
Jefferson City 7 11 18
Kansas City 9 13 24
Springfield 7 11 18
St. Louis 11 16 29
Other 7 11 18
 
Kansas City includes Jackson, Clay, Cass, and Platte counties and contiguous Kansas counties.
St. Louis includes St. Louis City and St. Louis and St. Charles counties.
The rates for St. Louis appy to Crawford, Franklin, Jefferson, Lincoln, Warren, and Washington counties.

 

For Outstate travel, derive the rate for each meal using the destination M&IE rate:

For example, if Dallas, TX M&IE is $59, the lunch per diem is $16.
