Directions, Pickup and Return Procedures for the Howerton Pool Location


  1. PRINT THE EMAIL CONFIRMATION and take it with you at your scheduled pickup time to the carpool lot along with a photo id.
  2. DIRECTIONS:   The carpool lot is located at the Howerton State Office Building at 615 Howerton Court.   The Howerton building is located on the west end of Missouri Boulevard (next to Longhorn Steakhouse). 
  3. PICKUP PROCEDURE: See receptionist at the window on the 1st floor (just to the left as you enter through the main doors).   A vehicle packet will be given to you including a trip ticket.   Proceed to the vehicle lot, locate the vehicle and park your personal vehicle in the same spot.
  4. RETURN PROCEDURE:  Upon return to the carpool lot, park the state vehicle in the assigned space, record the ending odometer reading on the Trip Ticket and then turn in the packet, trip ticket and fuel receipts to the receptionist before you exit the carpool lot.  An afterhours drop box is located next to the front door for returns after 5:00 pm.
