Council Works to Assure Compliance With Federal Accessibility Laws

Chapter 191 Section 191.863
The Missouri Assistive Technology Council working in conjunction with the Office of Information Technology will assure state compliance with the provisions of Section 508 of The Workforce Investment Act of 1998 regarding accessibility of information technology for individuals with disabilities. Standards relating to information technology accessibility will be established and followed by all state agencies when procuring electronic information technology products and services.
