Conference Bridging Options

The Office of Administration Conference Bridge allows up to 30 conferees and is available to all state agencies. The conference bridge must be reserved by the state agency, but can include conferees not on the state network.

There are two types of conferences available:

Progressive Conference Calls

This type of conference is initiated by the State Operator at a cost of $10.00 per hour plus usage. The cost will be billed to the agency designated by the person reserving the bridge. With this type of conference, the operator dials each conferee and connects them to the bridge.

To establish a conference call, dial the state operator at 573-751-2000.

The operator will request the following information:

At a predetermined conference time, the State Operator will begin by adding the individuals who reserve the conference. The operator will then add the designated conferees until all have been included. A high pitch tone will be heard by all conferees whenever a person enters and leaves the conference call.

To terminate the conference call, the conferee who reserved the bridge needs to notify the state operator.

Meet-Me Conference Calls

The Meet-Me conference call is $5.00 per hour plus usage. With this type of call, the bridge is reserved for a specific time and all conferees are given a number and a time to call the bridge. The State Operator is not involved in this type of call.

To establish a conference call, dial the state operator at 573-751-2000. The operator will request the following information:

The person requesting the conference bridge must notify all conferees of the conference bridge telephone numbers and the time of the conference.

As the callers begin to dial in, they will be automatically connected.

To terminate the conference call, the conferee who reserved the bridge needs to notify the state operator.
