This course is intended for those who have an equivalent experience in course 579, Learning Perl and course 579W, Learning Perl for Win32 Systems. Students should also have an understanding of World Wide Web and Internet Technologies, including a minimal understanding of HTML.

Course Description
CGI Programming Using Perl leads the student through the CGI process - how the web browser communicates to the server, how the server communicates with the CGI application. Emphasizing Perl language idioms, the student will create CGI applications that respond to HTML forms.
