Summary
VBScript is a subset of Visual Basic used for web client scripting in Microsoft Internet Explorer version 3.0 or higher and Web server scripting in Microsoft Internet Information Server version 3.0 or higher. VBScript allows web developers to gain control of what happens in the browser and controlling data entry (for example--before data is sent back to the server). VBScript can also be used on the server side in conjunction with Active Server Pages to generate dynamic web pages.
