Course Description
JCL/Utilities Workshop is designed to bring the novice in JCL to a minimum standard of performance and give the moderately experienced student additional insight into JCL and utilities. The student is introduced to JCL's benefits in an MVS, MVS/XA or MVS/ESA environment, its relationship to the operating system, PROCs, and the use of symbolic parameters. The major utilities, including SORT, are also overviewed.
