Overview

Provided below is a general outline of the class structure as well as pre-study assignments that MUST be completed prior to class. This will enable you to have the appropriate skills necessary to complete the class at the accelerated pace. All of the Boot Camp objectives are intentionally not listed and serve to indicate the required prerequisites of the pre-study assignments only.

Objectives

The objective of this intense 14-day MCSE 2003 Boot Camp is to prepare you for the MCSE Certification exams using the Exchange elective. It is recommended that the first 10 days in this course is completed prior to taking an exam. Please note: This boot camp does not cover the client OS exam requirement for MCSE attainment (Exam 70-290).

You will learn from highly competent Microsoft Certified Trainers who all have more than 5 years of teaching technical courses and assisting students such as yourself prepare for certifications.

Prerequisites for this Boot Camp

Complete the pre-study assignment

Have equivalent experience

Boot Camp Preparation

Start the pre-study assignment at least 1 week prior to class. Each student should have one book for each exam (70-290, 70-291, 70-293, 70-294, 70-298, 70-284) totaling 6 books per student.

Pre-Study Assignment

Ideally, each book should be read in their entirety before attending class. If this cannot be accomplished, then reading should at a minimum include those topics from each book that most closely match the exam objectives or Microsoft Official Course topics listed on the following pages.

Exam preparation

At the conclusion of the instructor led portion, use study and exam preparation tools such as Transcender exam simulation software and other Windows 2003 resources included in the provided curriculum packages to prepare for the exams.
