It's important that you understand our privacy position. As a state governmental agency, the Office of Administration is a public governmental body subject to Chapter 610 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, commonly known as the Sunshine Law. If an appropriate request is made to this office for information that is subject to disclosure by the Sunshine Law, the Office of Administration will be required to disclose the information requested, even if it may include your personally identifiable information.

Browsing

While you browse the web site, our operating system will automatically record the following information:

  • The name of the domain from which you accessed our web site. For example, if you are connecting from an America Online account, the fact that someone who visited this web site uses AOL as an internet service provider will be known, but the individual e-mail address of the user will not be known.

  • The date and time any page on our site was accessed.

  • The address (also called the URL) of the web site from which any page on this site was linked. For example, if you clicked on a hyperlink on the State of Missouri website to reach the Office of Administration web site, that fact is recorded. However, as discussed above, your identity remains unknown

  • The type of browser being used, such as "Netscape Version X.X" or "Internet Explorer Version X.X".

  • The type of operating system you use such as Macintosh, Unix, or Windows.

The On-Line Vendor Registration application http://www.moolb.state.mo.us/Glue/default.asp uses session cookies in order to facilitate your transaction. The EASe On-Line application http://www.ease.mo.gov uses session cookies in order to process your application. A session cookie is used to store information only within a session. These cookies are cached only while a user is visiting the web server issuing the session cookie and are deleted from the cache when the user closes the session.

E-mail

If you send us e-mail, the message will usually contain your return address. If you include personal information in your e-mail, we may use that information in responding to your request. E-mail is not necessarily secure or confidential. Send only the information that is necessary for us to answer your question or process your request.

Requests for Information

There are various locations on the Office of Administration web site where you may request that information, such as applications, be mailed to you. Should you make a request for information, the personally identifiable information you disclose as part of making that request is disclosed to staff at the Office of Administration so that your request may be fulfilled.

Vendor Registration

The On-Line Vendor Registration form requires users to give contact information (name, email, and postal address) and unique identifiers (FEN and social security number). The customer's contact information is used to send back registration confirmation information to the customer, as well as being able to reply back to the customer through the On-Line Bidding Feedback mailbox. This web site gives users the option for changing and modifying information previously provided through the on-line registration form. The information provided is entered in the Statewide Accounting and Financial System and the Internet System. The record of retention has not been established for the information, a schedule for retainment is being developed.

Personnel Application Request Form

Information collected through the "Mail Me an Application Form" is sent through e-mail to the Division of Personnel. Information collected is used to send a paper application through standard mail to the applicant. The information is retained for two business days in the event of an inquiry. Generally, the information is discarded after the two-day period, but our practice is dependent on workload.Application for Bid Information (Construction Work)

The Bidder's List application information is used to notify Contractors of projects in their stated interest. The information submitted by the contractor is entered into a Project Management System and is retained permanently or until the firm is no longer in business.

Architect/Engineer Related Services Database Form http://www.oa.mo.gov/dc/dcinet/forms/forms.htm
Information collected from the Architect and Engineers form is entered into a Project Management System. It is used for the Architect/Engineer qualification based selections (QBS), according to Chapter 8 of the Missouri Revised Statutes, http://www.moga.state.mo.us/statutes/C008.HTM. The information will be retained in the Project Management System permanently or until the firm is no longer in business.
