The Veterans Small Business Enhancement Act of 2018 allows Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs) to receive federal surplus property through the Federal Donation Program. In Missouri, the program is operated by the Missouri Agency for Surplus Property (MOSASP).
Before MOSASP can allocate property to a VOSB, VOSBs must first get verified with Veteran Affairs. To begin the verification process please click here for information. You will be able to find a flier from the US Department of Veterans Affairs that explains how to become verified here. Once verified, MOSASP will send you an eligibility packet.
Property available through the program includes: tools, office furniture, office supplies, cleaning supplies, kitchen equipment, vehicles, forklifts, generators, heavy equipment and more. There is a minimal service charge for any item acquired through the program.
