Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference? The Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division – Department of Social Services is preparing to fill a Computer Information Technology Specialist II position at 1621 East Elm Street in Jefferson City.
This supervisory position will be the Team Lead for the Departmental Support Team – Server Apps and will be responsible for supervising application development and maintenance activities for web-based applications utilizing ASP.NET Core Razor Pages, ASP.Net Webforms, C#, VB.Net, Classic ASP, DB2, MS SQL and MS Access.
Duties include strategic planning, directing and overseeing the completion of assignments and projects, meeting with customers and technical staff to develop project requirements, reviewing priorities, creating professional development plans, conducting monthly Engage meetings with direct reports, conducting interviews and making recommendations for the hiring of staff.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The ideal candidate will have prior supervisory and project management experience, will be well organized, possess strong verbal and written communication skills and have a background in application development.
