Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 

Developer interns work closely with developers in coding activities related to application maintenance and support.

Business Analyst (BA) interns work closely with Project Managers, BAs and Developers in testing, user interface, design & test documents.

Business Management interns work closely with ITSD Managers and developer teams to provide assistance with various management tasks for their teams including data analysis, report creation, and other special assignments in support of the team.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. – 5:00p.m. Approx 20-30 hours per week, mid October through December, (flexible).

Salary is $10.50 per hour

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

Coursework in database design, SQL, query writing, .NET, C#, or JAVA programming, MVC skills; some knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.  Excellent communication, organization and documentation skills.

Important Information

ITSD is seeking candidates to fill multiple part-time internship opportunities.   Internships are available for current students with course studies in these areas: Programming (.NET, JAVA and COBOL), Business Analysis or Systems Design, and Business Management.

Preference will be given to candidates with earned credit hours as follows:

Programming – 9 Earned Credits in one or more of the following:  Computer Application Development, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology

Business Analysis/Systems Design –  9 Earned Credits in one or more of the following:  Accounting, Business Administration, Business Communication, Communications, Computer Information Systems, English, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Project Management

Business Management  - 9 Earned Credits in one or more of the following:  Accounting, Business Administration, Business Information Technology , Communication, Leadership, Management Information Systems, Public Administration
