This position will provide administration and management of assigned Job Order Contract (JOC) projects. Review, understand and enforce construction project plans and specifications for assigned agency projects, including site visits, conducting and/or participating in meetings for discussing project progress. Issues resolution and potential changes to work. Oversee and conduct construction administrative duties for assigned projects, including, but not limited to construction scheduling, inspections (weekly, substantial completion, final & warranty). Review of substitution requests, pay applications, contract changes, closeout documents and warranty documents. Decision making authority to recommend approval of project schedules of value, substitution requests, additional work day requests, pay requests, project change orders and technical clarifications. Assist in the development and administration of the construction inspection program, design services, construction services and project management. Direct and/or assist with preparation of technical reports, cost estimates, design documents, drawings and technical specifications for construction projects. Participate in the development of internal policies, related to design guidelines and construction administrative duties.
This positions domicile can be in any of the above county locations. It will be determined by the perspective candidate.
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
