Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 

This position manages an application development team of two professionals within the Information Technology Section. Oversees projects/teams, providing technical expertise and direction to successfully meet IT business requirements. Leads complex projects in support of application development, enhancements and/or maintenance relating to the design and documentation of logical data modes, functional work processes, business rules, program specifications, and database functionality. Coordinates and leads long-term projects relating to system maintenance and/or new technology or enhancements to existing systems. Provides customer service and technical support for multiple systems. Conducts in-depth investigations regarding security issues. Implements security protocols to protect and defend digital information which is electronically stored and/or transmitted to include overseeing, analyzing, testing and implementing processes and techniques to secure the information.

SALARY: $62,556 (after a successful probationary period $65,280)

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

Supervisory experience is preferred. Desired skills: ability to use C#, SQL, JAVA, HTML or similar languages.
