Investigate incidents of malware infections to determine how infection occurred, what damage infection might have caused, and take steps to ensure network is protected from that particular infection in the future. Assist End User Support personnel in cleanup as needed. Monitor for anomalies and suspicious activity. Manage end-user cyber security awareness training. Will also work with agencies in the areas of reporting, security assessments, data loss prevention, and others.
Ability to monitor and assess threats, address and resolve information security incidents, analyze malware, research and to gather intelligence. Additional skills include the ability to communicate fluently with coworkers, End Users, ITSD employees and partners.
