Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 

Entry level - Mid-Level position within the Quality Assurance team for the Family and Children Electronic System (FACES). This team performs QA testing of every program that is modified by either other members of FACES or a contractor as well as assisting in Business Analyst role for FACES. Responsibilities can vary from QA and BA activities such as detailed analysis, documenting and testing of software to more technical activities such as software designing and coding, depending on the person.
 

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

Excellent verbal & written communication skills & the ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management is necessary. Applicant should possess the knowledge or be able to learn how to review/analyze programs in one or more of the following languages: COBOL, Javascript, VB.Net, SQL. Position will focus on quality assurance and testing so experience in these areas of application development is desired. Participation in the 24/7 On-Call rotation expected at later time.
