Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
This technical position involves working with the State's complex voice, video and data network as well as telephony providers to provide services to the state agencies statewide. This includes configurations of services on the Cisco Call Manager, Presence, Unity, Cisco Emergency Responder, UCCE, Telephony provider Switches, Voice Mail and various website portals that support Toll Free, Cellular and landline services. The job includes addressing questions/tickets as a help desk function.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
This position will requires programming telephone adds and changes to fit the individual needs, document changes, work within various vendor websites and the Cisco suite of products, conduct training for the end user and the ability to multi-task. The person would be a project leader gathering information from other internal teams, vendors, users and management. This requires both verbal and writing skills. Much of this will be on the job training due to the uniqueness of the state' system.
