Within the Office of Administration, the State Personnel Law (Chapter 36 RSMo) provides for a Personnel Advisory Board of seven members, appointed by the governor with the advice and consent of the Senate. The Board issues regulations that govern all aspects of the merit system of personnel administration and the uniform pay and classification of all agencies under the Governor.
The Director of the Division of Personnel is the Secretary to the Board. The Board holds a public meeting on the second Tuesday of each month. The Board takes up what the director has put on the agenda.
Effective August 28, 2010, the Personnel Advisory Board will no longer hear appeals of disciplinary actions or actions taken with regard to the examination process. Click here for details regarding the Personnel Advisory Board members and meetings.
The appeals process has been transferred to the Administrative Hearing Commission. Click here for the Administrative Hearing Commission.Personnel Advisory Board
