Paper Application for Merit System Employment

The paper application is required when applying for job classes that have not been converted to the Electronic Application System (EASe). Visit the State of Missouri Merit Registers page to view the list of job classes for which the Division of Personnel is currently accepting EASe or paper applications.

For your convenience, you may obtain the paper Application for Employment in one of three ways:

  1. Paper Application for Merit System Employment. Be sure to sign your completed application before submitting it to the Division of Personnel. (Data cannot be saved to the application form. Depending upon your version of Adobe, you may or may not be able to type data into the form. If needed, you can download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader by clicking the icon located under "Other Resources" below.)
  2. Paper Application for Merit System Employment. Data typed into this application form can be saved. You will need to print your completed application form, sign it and submit it to the Division of Personnel for further review.
  3. Request an application be sent to you through the mail.
