Within the Office of Administration, the State Personnel Law (Chapter 36 RSMo) provides for a Personnel Advisory Board of seven members, appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate. The Board prescribes rules and approves classification and pay plans prepared by the Division of Personnel and makes suggestions and recommendations to the Governor and the Director of the Division of Personnel.
The Director of the Division of Personnel assists the Board in the performance of its functions. The Board typically holds a public meeting on the second Tuesday of each month. The Board’s meetings consist of agenda items determined by the Director.
