Within the Office of Administration, the State Personnel Law (Chapter 36 RSMo) provides for a Personnel Advisory Board of seven members, appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate. The Board prescribes by rules the procedures for merit selection, uniform classification and pay, and covered appeals of all agencies under the Governor.
The Director of the Division of Personnel assists the Board in the performance of its functions. The Board typically holds a public meeting on the second Tuesday of each month. The Board’s meetings consist of agenda items determined by the Director.
