JEFFERSON CITY, MO - Missouri continues its process to reach an agreement on the redrawing of state senate districts. Due to the approaching candidate filing period, the Senate Reapportionment Commission has scheduled three public hearings over the next several days during which public testimony will be taken.
The first public hearing will be held on Sunday, Feb. 19 in Jefferson City; the second hearing is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 20 in Kansas City; and the third hearing will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 21 in St. Louis. The purpose of the hearings is to accommodate any testimony offered by the general public. The following are details of the public hearings meetings:
