JEFFERSON CITY - State Budget Director Linda Luebbering announced today that 2015 fiscal year net general revenue collections increased 8.8 percent compared to 2014, from $8.00 billion last year to $8.71 billion this year.
Net general revenue collections for June 2015 increased by 22.9 percent compared to those for June 2014, from $685.7 million to $842.7 million.
GROSS COLLECTIONS BY TAX TYPE
Individual income tax collections
Increased 8.5 percent for the year, from $6.35 billion last year to $6.89 billion this year.
Increased 5.1 percent for the month.
Sales and use tax collections
Increased 2.3 percent for the year, from $1.97 billion last year to $2.01 billion this year.
Decreased 3.6 percent for the month.
Corporate income and corporate franchise tax collections
Increased 3.3 percent for the year, from $540.7 million last year to $558.6 million this year.
Increased 2.4 percent for the month.
All other collections
Increased 11.6 percent for the year, from $419.3 million last year to $468.1 million this year.
Increased 131.1 percent for the month.
Refunds
Decreased 4.4 percent for the year, from $1.28 billion last year to $1.22 billion this year.
Decreased 39.5 percent for the month.
