JEFFERSON CITY, MO – State Budget Director Trevor Foley announced today that net general revenue collections for September 2026 increased 3.0 percent compared to those for September 2025, from $1.13 billion last year to $1.16 billion this year.
Net general revenue collections for 2027 fiscal year-to-date increased 3.9 percent compared to September 2025, from $3.00 billion last year to $3.12 billion this year.
GROSS COLLECTIONS BY TAX TYPE
Individual income tax collections
- Increased 1.6 percent for the year, from $1.93 billion last year to $1.96 billion this year.
- Decreased 2.3 percent for the month.
Pass through entity tax collections
- Decreased 29.3 percent for the year, from $59.0 million last year to $41.7 million this year.
- Decreased 55.7 percent for the month.
Sales and use tax collections
- Increased 6.1 percent for the year, from $857.1 million last year to $909.8 million this year.
- Increased 7.0 percent for the month.
Corporate income and corporate franchise tax collections
- Increased 42.2 percent for the year, from $159.5 million last year to $226.8 million this year.
- Increased 58.3 percent for the month.
All other collections
- Decreased 8.1 percent for the year, from $222.3 million last year to $204.3 million this year.
- Increased 13.0 percent for the month.
Refunds
- Decreased 0.9 percent for the year, from $228.4 million last year to $226.4 million this year.
- Increased 43.2 percent for the month.
