JEFFERSON CITY - Acting State Budget Director Dan Haug announced today that 2016 fiscal year-to-date net general revenue collections increased 3.05 percent compared to 2015, from $2.6 billion last year to $2.7 billion this year.
Net general revenue collections for October 2015 increased by .98 percent compared to those for October 2014, from $563 million to $568.6 million.
GROSS COLLECTIONS BY TAX TYPE
Sales and use tax collections
Increased 1.6 percent for the year, from $666 million last year to $676.6 million this year.
Decreased .36 percent for the month.
Individual income tax collections
Increased 6.2 percent for the year, from $1.8 billion last year to $2 billion this year.
Increased 6.3 percent for the month.
Corporate income and corporate franchise tax collections
Decreased 9.4 percent for the year, from $160.7 million last year to $145.7 million this year.
Decreased 34.7 percent for the month.
All other collections
Increased 2.9 percent for the year, from $105 million last year to $108 million this year.
Increased 7.8 percent for the month.
Refunds
Increased 18.2 percent for the year, from $185.9 million last year to $219.7 million this year.
Increased 18.9 percent for the month.
