JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Children's Trust Fund is holding a Go-Blue Wellness Walk in Jefferson City on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. The event will kick off outside the 4th floor entrance of the Harry S Truman State Office Building (W. McCarty St.). The wellness walk will have four additional stops along downtown Jefferson City where people can learn more about the Children's Trust Fund and additional resources the state offers. There will also be food trucks along the north end of the Capitol near the end of the walk. Please see the attached flyer and map for more information.
“The Children’s Trust Fund is excited to bring its Go-Blue Wellness Walk back to downtown Jefferson City for the first time since 2019," said Children’s Trust Fund Public Relations Specialist, Bryanna Barber. “It will be a great opportunity to raise awareness for important child abuse prevention resources in Missouri and to cultivate collaboration across state agencies and other partners in prevention.”
Those participating are encouraged to wear blue, the color representing child abuse prevention awareness, and to register for the walk. Registration is encouraged but not required.
