Missouri State University Health Professions Career Fair

Missouri State University Physical Therapy Department and the Career Center are hosting a Health Professions Career Fair on Thursday, October 3 at the Foster Recreation Center on campus for students preparing for health professions.

Do I have to attend the career fair?

All Doctor of Physical Therapy class of 2019 students must attend the Health Professions Career Fair. 

Students in the following programs are also encouraged to attend this all-inclusive career fair:

  • Physical therapy
  • Occupational therapy
  • Physician assistant studies
  • Nursing
  • Audiology (Communication sciences and disorders)
  • Speech-language pathology (Communication sciences and disorders)

You’ll learn about potential employment opportunities and make valuable contacts.

Are classes cancelled on the day of the career fair?

No, classes are not cancelled for the Health Professions Career Fair on October 3. 

Are alumni welcome to attend?

Yes. Graduates of all Missouri State health profession programs are welcome to attend the career fair.

Which employers are attending the career fair?

Use your BearPass to log into Handshake and review the employers attending. 

How can I get help preparing my résumé or having it reviewed?

Contact the Career Center in Carrington Hall 309. Walk-in hours are offered during fall and spring semesters for résumé assistance and reviews.

You can also bring your resume to have it reviewed at Resume Madness for the McQueary College of Health and Human Services, O'Reilly Building First Floor Atrium on September 5.
