JEFFERSON CITY, MO - State Budget Director Linda Luebbering announced today that 2013 fiscal year-to-date net general revenue collections increased 8.7 percent compared to 2012, from $4.55 billion last year to $4.94 billion this year.
Net general revenue collections for February 2013 decreased by 0.2 percent compared to those for February 2012, from $398.2 million to $397.2 million.
GROSS COLLECTIONS BY TAX TYPE
Individual income tax collections
- Increased 5.5 percent for the year, from $3.52 billion last year to $3.71 billion this year.
- Increased 1.6 percent for the month.
Sales and use tax collections
- Increased 0.8 percent for the year from $1.25 billion last year to $1.26 billion this year.
- Decreased 9.5 percent for the month.
Corporate income and corporate franchise tax collections
- Increased 2.9 percent for the year, from $244.0 million last year to $251.2 million this year.
- Increased 62.6 percent for the month.
All other collections
- Increased 34.9 percent for the year, from $210.0 million last year to $283.3 million this year.
- Increased 9.8 percent for the month.
Refunds
- Decreased 16.5 percent for the year, from $676.4 million last year to $564.8 million this year.
- Decreased 0.2 percent for the month.
