JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – State Budget Director Linda Luebbering announced today that 2013 Fiscal Year net general revenue collections increased by 10.1 percent compared to 2012, from $7.34 billion last year to $8.08 billion this year.
Net general revenue collections for June 2013 increased by 7.2 percent compared to those for June 2012, from $729.2 million to $781.5 million.
GROSS COLLECTIONS BY TAX TYPE
Individual income tax collections
- Increased 9.0 percent for the year, from $5.84 billion last year to $6.37 billion this year.
- Increased 5.6 percent for the month.
Sales and use tax collections
- Increased 1.3 percent for the year from $1.87 billion last year to $1.90 billion this year.
- Decreased 1.1 percent for the month.
Corporate income and corporate franchise tax collections
- Increased 4.5 percent for the year, from $502.9 million last year to $525.7 million this year.
- Increased 11.1 percent for the month.
All other collections
- Increased 18.2 percent for the year, from $398.4 million last year to $470.9 million this year.
- Decreased 34.1 percent for the month.
Refunds
- Decreased 7.8 percent for the year, from $1.28 billion last year to $1.18 billion this year.
- Decreased 38.0 percent for the month.
