By order of the Governor, all flags at all State government offices will be flown at half-staff, in Jackson, Clay, Platte and Cass counties only, on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, from sunrise until sunset in honor of Battalion Chief Thomas G. Byrne who died in the line of duty.
