State Budget Director Linda Luebbering announced today that 2014 fiscal year-to-date net general revenue collections increased 2.7 percent compared to 2013, from $1.90 billion last year to $1.95 billion this year.
Net general revenue collections for September 2013 increased by 8.3 percent compared to those for September 2012, from $743.2 million to $804.6 million.
Net general revenue collections for August 2013 increased by 2.2 percent compared to those for August 2012, from $652.6 million to $667.2 million.
GROSS COLLECTIONS BY TAX TYPE
Individual income tax collections
- Increased 3.8 percent for the year, from $1.29 billion last year to $1.34 billion this year.
- Increased 5.4 percent for the month.
Sales and use tax collections
- Increased 5.1 percent for the year, from $471.0 million last year to $495.1 million this year.
- Increased 16.5 percent for the month.
Corporate income and corporate franchise tax collections
- Increased 28.4 percent for the year, from $105.0 million last year to $134.9 million this year.
- Increased 35.0 percent for the month.
All other collections
- Decreased 32.5 percent for the year, from $138.0 million last year to $93.2 million this year.
- Increased 12.7 percent for the month.
Refunds
- Increased 5.9 percent for the year, from $105.4 million last year to $111.6 million this year.
- Increased 94.1 percent for the month.
