JEFFERSON CITY, MO --State Budget Director Linda Luebbering announced today that 2014 fiscal year-to-date net general revenue collections increased 2.5 percent compared to 2013, from $2.42 billion last year to $2.48 billion this year.
Net general revenue collections for October 2013 increased by 1.7 percent compared to those for October 2012, from $522.0 million to $530.9 million.
GROSS COLLECTIONS BY TAX TYPE
Individual income tax collections
- Increased 3.8 percent for the year, from $1.68 billion last year to $1.74 billion this year.
- Increased 3.9 percent for the month.
Sales and use tax collections
- Increased 4.4 percent for the year, from $617.5 million last year to $644.8 million this year.
- Increased 2.2 percent for the month.
Corporate income and corporate franchise tax collections
- Increased 26.4 percent for the year, from $129.9 million last year to $164.3 million this year.
- Increased 18.0 percent for the month.
All other collections
- Decreased 37.0 percent for the year, from $165.7 million last year to $104.3 million this year.
- Decreased 59.8 percent for the month.
Refunds
- Increased 2.1 percent for the year, from $168.1 million last year to $171.7 million this year.
- Decreased 4.3 percent for the month.
