JEFFERSON CITY - State Budget Director Linda Luebbering announced today that 2015 fiscal year-to-date net general revenue collections increased 4.9 percent compared to 2014, from $5.04 billion last year to $5.29 billion this year.
Net general revenue collections for February 2015 increased by 4.4 percent compared to those for February 2014, from $466.1 million to $486.6 million.
GROSS COLLECTIONS BY TAX TYPE
Individual income tax collections
Increased 6.4 percent for the year, from $3.80 billion last year to $4.05 billion this year.
Increased 5.6 percent for the month.
Sales and use tax collections
Increased 3.3 percent for the year, from $1.31 billion last year to $1.35 billion this year.
Increased 8.8 percent for the month.
Corporate income and corporate franchise tax collections
Increased 4.0 percent for the year, from $286.7 million last year to $298.0 million this year.
Increased 33.7 percent for the month.
All other collections
Decreased 6.1 percent for the year, from $224.6 million last year to $210.9 million this year.
Decreased 35.4 percent for the month.
Refunds
Increased 6.4 percent for the year, from $586.6 million last year to $624.1 million this year.
Increased 7.11 percent for the month.
