JEFFERSON CITY - State Budget Director Linda Luebbering announced today that 2014 fiscal year-to-date net general revenue collections increased 2.0 percent compared to 2013, from $4.94 billion last year to $5.04 billion this year.
Net general revenue collections for February 2014 increased by 17.3 percent compared to those for February 2013, from $397.2 million to $466.1 million.
GROSS COLLECTIONS BY TAX TYPE
Individual income tax collections
Increased 2.5 percent for the year, from $3.71 billion last year to $3.80 billion this year.
Increased 6.6 percent for the month.
Sales and use tax collections
Increased 4.1 percent for the year from $1.26 billion last year to $1.31 billion this year.
Increased 7.0 percent for the month.
Corporate income and corporate franchise tax collections
Increased 14.1 percent for the year, from $251.2 million last year to $286.7 million this year.
Decreased 34.2 percent for the month.
All other collections
Decreased 20.7 percent for the year, from $283.3 million last year to $224.6 million this year.
Decreased 4.4 percent for the month.
Refunds
Increased 3.9 percent for the year, from $564.8 million last year to $586.6 million this year.
Decreased 10.9 percent for the month.
