JEFFERSON CITY - State Budget Director Linda Luebbering announced today that 2015 fiscal year-to-date net general revenue collections increased 4.9 percent compared to 2014, from $4.57 billion last year to $4.80 billion this year.
Net general revenue collections for January 2015 increased by 4.1 percent compared to those for January 2014, from $705.8 million to $734.8 million.
GROSS COLLECTIONS BY TAX TYPE
Individual income tax collections
Increased 6.5 percent for the year, from $3.28 billion last year to $3.49 billion this year.
Increased 7.1 percent for the month.
Sales and use tax collections
Increased 2.5 percent for the year, from $1.14 billion last year to $1.17 billion this year.
Decreased 0.63 percent for the month.
Corporate income and corporate franchise tax collections
Increased 3.0 percent for the year, from $277.9 million last year to $286.4 million this year.
Decreased 1.1 percent for the month.
All other collections
Decreased 2.7 percent for the year, from $201.5 million last year to $196.0 million this year.
Increased 36.7 percent for the month.
Refunds
Increased 5.8 percent for the year, from $331.0 million last year to $350.4 million this year.
Increased 24.8 percent for the month.
