JEFFERSON CITY - Acting State Budget Director Dan Haug announced today that 2016 fiscal year-to-date net general revenue collections increased 4.2 percent compared to 2015, from $3.22 billion last year to $3.36 billion this year.
Net general revenue collections for November 2015 increased by 9.0 percent compared to those for November 2014, from $633.2 million to $690.4 million.
GROSS COLLECTIONS BY TAX TYPE
Individual income tax collections
Increased 7.8 percent for the year, from $2.31 billion last year to $2.49 billion this year.
Increased 14.2 percent for the month.
Sales and use tax collections
Increased 2.8 percent for the year, from $824.3 million last year to $847.0 million this year.
Increased 7.7 percent for the month.
Corporate income and corporate franchise tax collections
Decreased 5.9 percent for the year, from $173.4 million last year to $163.2 million this year.
Increased 38.4 percent for the month.
All other collections
Decreased 3.2 percent for the year, from $139.5 million last year to $135.0 million this year.
Decreased 21.6 percent for the month.
Refunds
Increased 23.3 percent for the year, from $223.2 million last year to $275.2 million this year.
Increased 48.8 percent for the month.
