Schedule an Event at the Capitol

This page provides the method for making event reservations of the Missouri State Capitol. To apply for a reservation of the Capitol 1st Floor Rotunda, South Lawn/Capitol Steps, or North Plaza, fill out the application below or call 573-751-3249. To apply for a reservation of the Capitol 3rd Floor Rotunda, please contact the Senate Administration (573-522-7815) or House Operations (573-751-4555).

Events for the Capitol Rotunda can be reserved for a maximum of three (3) hours during operating hours of the Capitol.

  • 7:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday
  • 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Saturday – Sunday

Events cannot be reserved on the following holidays (actual and observed):

  • New Year's Day
  • Easter
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day

Time and Attendance
Reservations can be made for an event period up to three (3) hours during the operating hours of the Capitol. 7:00 am – 5:00 pm M-F or 8:00 am – 4:00 pm S-S. Permit holders should allow time during their scheduled event period for setup, take down and "clean up". Events cannot be reserved on New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
